Pelikan Red Marbled: special edition fountain pen

The Pelikan Red Marbled is a special edition fountain pen from the Classic M200 series. It is the model that opens the Pelikan premium range. The barrel is turned from a rod of marbled red resin, with black resin details on the cap, grip, and piston knob.

Each pen reveals a different grain. The pattern is already present in the raw material, so no two pens are truly alike. It is also available in a ballpoint version.

Features of the Red Marbled

The finishes are 24kt gold-plated. We find the pelican beak clip, the piston ring, the cap band, and the nib crown ring. The nib is made of gold-plated stainless steel. It is available in four nib sizes—Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad—to suit every writing style.

Like all Pelikan pens in the Classic line, this model uses the patented Pelikan differential piston system. The capacity reaches 1.54 ml of bottled ink. A smoky ink window behind the grip allows you to check the filling level.

Marbled finishes have been part of the Pelikan tradition since the late 1980s. The first variants were marbled green and blue. Over time, special editions such as the Brown Marbled and Gold Marbled were introduced. This version was launched in 2025. It is one of the latest releases of this historic finish, distinct from the classic green-black stripes of other versions in the M200 range .
