The L'Arma di Calliope Slim is a Marlen pen that pays tribute to the Arma dei Carabinieri, celebrating the grandeur and importance of this long-standing Italian institution, with which Marlen has collaborated to create this exclusive series of writing instruments. Calliope was the muse of epic poetry in Greek mythology. The collection incorporates the colors and emblems of the Carabinieri: the barrel and cap are made of precious black Italian resin with blue veining, turned from solid bar.

The Carabinieri emblem on the L'Arma di Calliope Slim

The central band is decorated with the Carabinieri emblem and the emblem of the Italian Republic. The coat of arms features a silver cross dividing a red shield: the quadrants alternate between a hand clutching a snake, a symbol of prudence and determination, and a flaming grenade, representing the warrior spirit and origins as a select troop. At the top of the shield is a golden lion, a symbol of strength and courage, surmounted by a turreted crown. The scroll at the bottom bears the Carabinieri motto: "Nei secoli fedele" (Faithful throughout the centuries).

The solid silver clip features the Flame symbol, the badge of the Carabinieri, which is also set on the flaming grenade.
