Delta Etna: three elements, three colors

Part of the "Tesori d'Italia" series, this pen interprets the volcanic landscape through materials and colors. Earth, lava, and the night sky each find a place in the design, intended for those seeking an instrument with a story to be observed in every detail.

The dark marbled brown of the barrel represents the volcanic earth.
The deep blue of the cap recalls the night sky when the volcano is at rest.
The rare fire-red celluloid of the finials evokes the incandescent lava along the slopes.
The contrast between these elements translates the stillness of the landscape and the energy of the volcano into color.

Materials and craftsmanship of the Etna fountain pen

Every element is hand-turned from solid bars and mirror-polished.
The craftsmanship in Naples enhances the marbled brown resin, solid blue, and red accents in a recognizable composition where each material contributes to the narrative without interrupting its harmony.

The cap is enriched by two red celluloid rings, interspersed with golden rings. The 24kt gold-plated metal finishes complete the palette with a luminous touch alongside the shades of earth and night.

14kt gold nib and converter included

The nib is 14kt gold, size #6.
Available nib sizes are Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub 1.1, Flex F, and Flex EF, allowing you to choose a finer line, a broader stroke, or expressive writing.
Please check the availability of your preferred option at the time of purchase.

The cartridge/converter filling system allows you to choose between cartridges and bottled ink; the converter is included.
To personalize your writing experience, you can match an ink color to the pen's volcanic palette (such as the brown Yama Guri - wild chestnut - by Iroshizuku) or choose a contrast (such as Rouge Grenat by J.Herbin).

Delta - Stilografica Etna

Three elements, three colors

The incandescent lava flowing down the volcano's slopes at night is evoked by the rare fire-red celluloid of the end pieces.
The volcanic earth, primordial matter of Mount Etna, is represented by the dark pearlescent brown of the barrel.
The deep blue of the cap represents the night sky, immense and silent when the volcano is at rest.

Susanna's opinion

A beautiful pen, based on the design of Delta’s old Dolcevita, but with very different colors and a red marbled celluloid detail. For the ink, we suggest experimenting with the volcanic palette, for example with Iroshizuku’s Yama Guri brown, or with a contrast such as J. Herbin’s Rouge Grenat.
