The Etruria Magnifica Lucens is an oversized Stipula pen with a soft, ovoid shape that recalls the sphericity of Etruscan amphorae, which also inspired its decorative elements: finely chiseled stylized leaves, a symbol of Stipula, that decorate the clip and the central band.

Over the years, many versions of the Etruria have been produced: regular and limited editions in celluloid, gold, marbled resins, and even demo versions in transparent resin. The Etruria Magnifica is decidedly generous in size but at the same time remains light and easy to handle.

The Etruria line stems from the ovoid shape of Etruscan amphorae and is distinguished by the stylized leaf decorations on the clip and band, a detail that has accompanied Stipula for years in various iterations.

Materials and colors of the Etruria Magnifica Lucens

It is made of transparent resin in which colored fragments are embedded, arranged randomly along the barrel and cap. The available colors are red, green, blue, and black. The clip and finishes are in palladium-plated or yellow gold-plated metal, depending on the chosen color.

Trivalent filling system and available nibs

The filling system is trivalent: cartridge, converter, or direct eyedropper, which is included in the packaging. Thanks to an internal o-ring seal, the pen achieves an enormous ink capacity by allowing the entire barrel to be filled. The nib is steel, available in Fine, Medium, Stub, and V-Flex cuts, or in T-Flex titanium for those who enjoy calligraphic writing.
