The Dante Alighieri pen by Marlen is dedicated to the father of the Italian language, who wrote the Divina Commedia between 1300 and 1321, the year of his death. It is the most important literary testimony of medieval civilization, as well as one of the greatest works of world literature.

The Divina Commedia recounts an imaginary journey through the three realms of the afterlife - Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso - offering a cross-section of medieval morals and ethics and the worldview developed within the Catholic Church. It is divided into 3 Canticles, composed of 33 cantos structured in tercets.

Marlen has created a collection of 3 pens to celebrate the 700th anniversary of his death.
